How to get there: It's easy to get there from the main road to Porto Azzurro: there are two entrances. One takes you to the western end and the other to the eastern end.
The old name "lido" was used by people from Capoliveri for the best beach in the area. It is a middle sized beach with fine golden sand. It has a good southerly position, there are two rock outcrops at either end, it has known a precocious growth due to its beauty and easy access. This brought about the birth of tourist facilities and hotels and apartments behind the beach.
It is a good beach for families but also for young adults who find it a good point to meet and have fun. A good Maestrale (north-west) breeze favours windsurfing and also means the water is crystal clear.
