How to get there: From the main Procchio - Marciana Marina road there is a path that goes down through a holm oak wood to the beach.
Nearby is the fine Paolina island, tradition says that it was called after Napoleon's sister, Pauline Bonaparte. The sand and pebble beach is sometimes covered with posidonia oceanica (a type of sea grass). The small beach is in a very natural landscape: it is hidden by a fine oak wood and there is a view of the island, covered in Mediterranean vegetation and of Procchio gulf and on to the Enfola peninsula.
The small island is only a few metres from the beach and can easily be reached by swimming.
