Set in greenery, in a panoramic position, the Hotel is on the provincial road that leads to Capoliveri and Porto Azzurro. It looks onto the Stella Gulf, in front of the island of Montecristo, and is only 10 Km from Portoferraio. Completely renovated and redecorated in 2005, it offers an excellent ratio between quality and price to its guests. The tasty classical Italian cuisine, with hints of local gastronomy, can be tasted on the splendid sea view restaurant terrace. The Hotel rooms are in 4 independent buildings situated in the lower part of the residential complex set on the side of a green hill and are connected to each other by paths set in greenery. It is only a short walk to the sandy beach of Lido di Capoliveri (400 meters long), one of the largest with many facilities on the southern coast, with large areas free, here you can rent boats, pedal boats, windsurf and do water sports; it is perfect for families and for anyone who wants to have every amenity available. A short drive away are the charming beaches of Norsi, Felciaio, Margidore, Lacona and Laconella. The Hotel's central position means that it is in easy reach of two of the prettiest and most typical towns of the Island of Elba. Porto Azzurro rises in a protected inlet on the Mola gulf, it has been used from past times as a natural harbour for Tyrrhenian sea routes. Its large square, the town's drawing room, faces directly onto the sea, it is enlivened in summer with shows and entertainment, while the narrow lanes are lighted up with a craft market. Capoliveri is 167 meters above sea level, on the top of a hill, dominating the south east part of the island, a strategic observation post even in the Etruscan-Roman period with a hill fort.
